REEF DONKEY

Our Reef Donkey leader is constructed of 6 feet of 300 pound test Hi-Seas platinum offshore leader material. We use a 600 pound ROSCO swivel threaded on a luminous thimble that is crimped with an extra long aluminum crimp. Two 8 ounce egg sinkers, with beads on each side and between the weights, are crimped into place so the leader will not get tangled up on itself. With hook choices of a 10/0 Demon circle hook, 9/0 Frenzy Big Game ultimate circle hook, or a 16/0 Eagle Claw circle sea hook. These leaders win the battle against the infamous reef donkey.
