Prison Ministry (Go to Prison Ministries Page)

The Mainland Church of Christ is actively involved in teaching CASA (Christians Against Substance Abuse - 12 step) and New Life Behavior (focusing on life after prison) classes at the Carol Young Medical Facility , which is a TDCJ unit in Texas City. We also conduct Sunday morning worship at the prison.

Worship & Bible Study - Sunday 8:30am
CASA - Wednesday 6:30pm
New Life Behavior - Thursday 6:30 pm

Children's Ministry

One of our most active and growing ministries is the work we are doing with our children. We have a special Children's Sermon during our worship time every Sunday along with a Children's Bible Hour. Activities are planned continually to grow and nurture these precious children in the Lord.

Bible Classes - Sunday 9:00am & Wednesday 7:00pm

Monday Night For The Master

Making and sending cards of encouragement - 1st Monday of each month

Visitation Ministry

Assignments of visiting members and visitors after sharing a meal - 3rd Monday of each month

Community Round-up

Distribute door hangers in different neighborhoods in the community - every 3-4 months

Leadership Training For Christ for grades 3-12. Preparations begin in September each year with a Regional Conference taking place Easter weekend.
