Chris (aka ‘newman’ owner of http://www.grandadsfishingtackle.com) and I stopped by Chad’s house (MC Saltwater Tackle) to pick up some leaders. I have to say Chad’s leaders are top notch. He uses extra heavy duty swivels, Owners hooks, and high test mono and wire leaders. Thanks Chad I could not have made better leaders. Chad and Chris at MC Saltwater Tackle

First stop was a couple rigs in 250' of water for a quick limit of snapper. Just as the Capt. had told us there were no real sows there but all respectable keepers maybe 3-8 pounds. It sure was nice to just open a pre assembled snapper rig from MC saltwater Tackle and get to work with the pogies. Bert caught this kingfish on MC Saltwater's exclusive kingfish leader and the AJ on their AJ rig.

A little while later John got in on the action with a warsaw grouper (left) taken with a live piggy perch on a MC Saltwater Tackle grouper rig. A couple AJ's came over the rail as well. Here's Paul (right) with a good one.

I left the house on Sunday morning about 9:30 and picked up BullRed (An) then stopped at MC Saltwater Tackle for some Top Notch leaders. MC Saltwater Tackle really is "The Leader in Leaders". Chad uses top of the line materials and takes great attention to DETAIL in his rigging. At the dock. The left shot is a boat limit of red snapper that were mostly caught on rigs provided by MC Saltwater Tackle. Some of the fish were caught on jigs. A couple of the guys used their standard 2 hook dropper rigs but only managed undersized fish. One baracuda make the mistake of trying to steal a bait but Chad's coated wire snapper rig prevented the disapointment of a cut-off.
