TEQUILA SHOT GROUPER LEADER

Our Tequila Shot grouper leader is constructed with 10 feet of 400 pound test AFW 49-Strand stainless steel cable. We use a 600 pound ROSCO swivel is secured by a double crimped offshore loop. A 20 ounce bank sinker is attached to a swivel sleeve with an 50 pound test monofilament breakaway leader. This allows weights to be easily interchanged or replaced, so you can adapt for ever changing fishing conditions. The hook is also secured by a double crimped offshore loop. With hook choices of a 10/0 Demon circle hook or an 11/0 Frenzy Big Game ultimate circle hook, you will be able to choose the perfect application for your fishing needs. This leader was developed for fishing around offshore oil wells where big fish tend to run back into the barnacle encrusted rig legs.

REEF DONKEY

Our Reef Donkey leader is constructed of 6 feet of 300 pound test Hi-Seas platinum offshore leader material. We use a 600 pound ROSCO swivel threaded on a luminous thimble that is crimped with an extra long aluminum crimp. Two 8 ounce egg sinkers, with beads on each side and between the weights, are crimped into place so the leader will not get tangled up on itself. With hook choices of a 10/0 Demon circle hook or an 9/0 Frenzy Big Game ultimate circle hook. These leaders win the battle against the infamous reef donkey.
